Be conscious that certain exceptions, such as the verb “be,” have specific forms for use in the present tense as well. This involves adding a “-s” or “-es” to the end of the word for the third-person singular form. It makes no difference whether the verb is regular or irregular the present simple tense is always conjugated similarly.
